How does it work in detail?
The handover of the vehicle is uncomplicated and takes place in a specially created room – the handover cabin or lounge.
Before entering the handover room
- On the way to the transfer cabin, the system collects information that simplifies the subsequent storage and retrieval process.
- The user arrives in front of the handover cabin, which is initially closed for safety reasons.
- Our platform recognizes the vehicle based on the license plate number or via QR code and grants access to the parking garage.
- Our system asks the user whether e-charging or barrier-free parking (for wheelchair users) is required and directs the user to the assigned cabin. The entry into the transfer cabin is supported by clearly visible entry aids on large screens or via a projector.
After the entrance in the handover room
- The transfer rooms are directly accessible. The entrance is straight and quick and convenient for the driver. In the handover room, the vehicle is parked on a vehicle pallet in the room and handed over to the parking system.
- If the user wants to charge his/her vehicle electrically, he/she connects his/her vehicle to the well-positioned and accessible sockets integrated in the pallet.
- The vehicle is then measured again before being assigned to the appropriate storage location.
- After the parking process is completed, the customer leaves the cabin and confirms at the designated terminal (as well as with the app) that there is no one left in the room or vehicle and that all doors and the trunk of the vehicle are closed. The automatic storage process then begins.
- If the user wishes to return their vehicle after parking, it will be ready for collection in the handover cabin. The user controls the collection via the app or by entering their vehicle license plate number.
